Hotel Am Marschiertor - Aachen

Positive, Friendly staff at reception. The room was spacious and super clean, with comfy beds and pillows. Breakfast was a highlight with plenty of tasty options. It's just a quick 15-minute walk to the old city center, perfect for exploring the Christmas market 😊

The breakfast is exceptionally good, offered with bacon. The rooms are immaculately clean with recently refurbished bathrooms, 1 large double bed, as example and the staff are welcoming. Must say thanks, would like to come again.

Our room was brand-new and beautifully maintained, also it had coffee, tea/coffee and ample closet space. The beds with hypoallergenic pillows and down pillows were GOOD.

Had an epic feast at nearby La Stazione. The Korean flavors were on point! Plus, the early check-in and late checkout were a game changer. Super clean room with spacious comfort.

The bathroom needed maintenance-dirty floors and a clogged showerhead were noticeable, bringing down the overall feeling of cleanliness. Some furniture felt dated. Pillows were unusual and took a while to get used to. Access to rooms was tricky at night due to poor hallway lighting and awkward stair placement.

Noise disturbances from the main road are a hassle!!! The decor feels quite outdated!!! Insufficient electrical outlets in rooms can be very inconvenient!!!

I was nearly ready to write a glowing review until i noticed the constant noise from the main road and the dubious cleanliness in the bathroom. Absolutely no air conditioning for a 'luxury' hotel left me parched. You'd think they'd at least offer free parking for such a prime location. Disappointing, really.

The breakfast buffet offered an excellent selection, with fresh pastries and fruits that were hard to resist. The location is fantastic for those needing quick access to the railway, just a short 3-minute stroll away. I enjoyed the lovely city view from my room.

I thoroughly enjoyed my 3-night stay. The room, while slightly dated, was very clean and had a great shower. The breakfast buffet was a highlight, with good options like pancakes and fresh fruit. Pro tip, don't miss the 3-minute walk to the old city gate-it's a charming path!

I had a wonderful stay with excellent coffee available downstairs after a chilly walk back from exploring. The hotel has great places to unwind, including a cozy lounge and a lovely outdoor space. On the downside, the heating was a bit inconsistent, but that didn't sour my overall experience at all 😊
